Fallbrook Library
The concept of a "library" has evolved to mean more than just a repository for books and old documents. Today's libraries are centers of learning and research, providing electronic access to a world of information, as well as printed texts.
The new Fallbrook Library is all of these, as well as a community gathering place, an art-filled showplace that is the centerpiece of the community. The building itself is a work of art created by local artists and artisans.
The Reading Garden, Children’s area, Teen Room, Poet’s Patio, Computer Center, and meeting rooms for small groups are among many other features are in constant use. The popular Bottom Shelf Bookstore, managed by the Friends of the Fallbrook Library, sells gently used books and other media to benefit library programs.

Monday and Friday – Door side service from 10-4 pm

Friends of the Fallbrook Library
Organized and incorporated in 1963, it is one of the largest and most active Friends groups in San Diego County. Managed by the governing Board of Directors, it operates the Bottom Shelf Bookstore and provides volunteers to assist the library staff by stocking shelves and helping with children's programs.
The Friends led the fundraising campaign for the new library which includes a permanent art collection, state-of-the-art equipment, a large community room, special sections for teens and children, a computer lab and a larger bookstore.

- 1st Grade at the Library
- Special collection purchases
- Art in the Library ~ permanent collection & exhibitions
